For most types of natural stone, or tiles made from natural stone, we would normally recommend Mineral-Based Anti-Slip Treatment - in the case of marble, the Porcelain version (code: 80378).

However, some caution needs to be exercised, as marble is one of the softest natural materials to be used for decorative purposes. As with all natural materials, its chemical composition and density is variable. In some rare cases, it may be too soft to treat effectively with this product.

We recommend that a test patch is first conducted in an inconspicuous area, using a minimum treatment time. If after neutralising, the surface shows a dull, chalky appearance, it cannot be treated with this product. Simply buff the area to retrieve its original appearance.

The alternative but effective treatment in this case is Maxiflex.
