If the surface is uneven, or you wish to make the surface resistant to moisture, oil or other chemicals, or you wish to colour it, please choose one of the other treatments shown below. A selection of rubber-based resin coatings. One-part systems containing integral heavy traction grit or tempered traction granules, available in a number of colours. Main advantages are ease of application and ability to withstand surface flexing without cracking. A limited range of water-based versions are available where environmental circumstances preclude the use of solvent-based products. A 2-part epoxy system with or without tempered traction granules. Main advantages are high degree of chemical resistance and extreme hard-wearing nature. Cures quickly, once mixed must be used within 90 minutes.
